What does the earnings chart represent? How should it be interpreted?

On the earnings chart, the dots are divided into "Expected EPS" and "Actual EPS". If the "actual" number is greater than the "expected" (i.e., the solid dot is higher than the translucent dot), it indicates that the stock's profit performance is better than the market expected. On the contrary, the reason for the stock's earnings not meeting expectations needs to be noted.
