How to proceed:

2. Request to transfer your assets from your GUGU account to your new Alpaca account.

Option 5: Transfer to Interactive Brokers (IB)
How to proceed:
• For every $100 of assets you transfer, you will receive $1 worth of Interactive Brokers shares. For example, transferring $1,000 will earn you $10 in Interactive Brokers stock rewards.
• Use the account opening link provided in the transfer instruction email to complete your Interactive Brokers account registration.
• After completing the account registration, apply to transfer your assets to the Interactive Brokers account. When submitting the application, provide the following details:
• Broker Name: Alpaca Securities LLC

Conditions:

GUGU officially began the securities business termination process on December 6, 2024. The automatic transfer process is expected to begin in January 2024. At that time, your account will be automatically transferred to GUGU's partner broker, and you can complete the transfer by following the step-by-step instructions. After completion, you will receive a transfer reward based on your asset size.
Since the specific details of the automatic transfer are still subject to approval by the partnering institution, you can choose to wait for this plan or proceed with any of the options above for managing your assets at Alpaca Securities LLC (GUGU's partner clearing broker).
